These internal regulations define the rules of operation, discipline, ethics, safety and protection that apply within AFROCARE, in order to protect the organisation and everyone who benefits from or takes part in its activities.
AFROCARE is committed to acting with integrity, respect, transparency and responsibility.
These regulations apply to everyone who works for or with AFROCARE, and to all users and beneficiaries of our services.
Everyone has a duty to know them and to comply with them.
Any form of violence, harassment, abuse, discrimination, exploitation or degrading behaviour is strictly prohibited.
Personal and professional information is confidential. Its use is limited to strictly necessary needs.
Beneficiaries have the right to dignified welcome, to information, to confidentiality and to protection against all forms of abuse.
Corruption, fraud, misappropriation of funds, illicit payments and any conflict of interest are prohibited.
The safety of people, property and information must be guaranteed in all circumstances.
Any breach may be reported without fear of retaliation. Reports are handled seriously and confidentially.
Any breach of these regulations may lead, depending on the seriousness of the facts and the status of the person concerned, to:
